  • In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and us regarding services we provide to you or your business, whether directly or indirectly (including transportation, home delivery, warehousing, brokerage, or other services).

Except as otherwise provided above, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us offline or through any other means, including on any other websites or applications operated by us, our affiliates or subsidiaries, or any other third party.
  • Any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or through our Websites.
  • Us regarding our employees.

Our Websites and applications are offered and available to users who are 18 years of age or older. Our Websites and applications are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We collect several types of information from and about you when you use or interact with our Websites or applications, or when you send to us or receive from us email, text, or other electronic messages, including the following:

  • We collect information by which you may be personally identified, including the following (collectively, “personal information”):
  • Personal identifiers: Information such as your name, postal address, residential address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, social security number, alien registration number, country of citizenship, driver’s license number and history, driving history and record, passport number, internet protocol (IP) address, the device identifier for the computer or other electronic device you use to access our Websites or applications, account name and password, bank account information, and credit/debit card information.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information does not include information that is publicly available, deidentified or aggregate information, or otherwise excluded from the scope of applicable data privacy laws.

  • We collect information that is about you but individually does not identify you, such as device type, device operating system, internet browser type, email reader, and internet service provider.
  • We collect information regarding your business, such as your business’s name, postal address, physical address, email address, telephone number, account name and password, information regarding transactions and payments, including bank account information, credit/debit card information, and other information that you provide to us in connection with your business’s account, including business account related messages, inquiries, requests, and related matters.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through our Websites or applications, or send to us or receive from us email, text, or other electronic messages. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

From third parties, for example, our business partners or your business.

The information we collect when you use or interact with our Websites or applications, or when you send to us or receive from us email, text, or other electronic messages, may include:

  • Information that you provide when you enter information, submit questions or comments, create accounts, when you interact with our Websites or applications, or otherwise communicate with us via email, text, or other electronic message. This includes information you provide when you or your business create and use an account, submit shipment tracking inquiries, request pickups, request quotes or reports, order or receive services from us, submit messages, questions, or contact requests, subscribe to our newsletters, post material, make job related inquiries, link to job postings, or apply for a job. 
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including your email address and phone number), if you communicate with us or respond to us.
  • Details of transactions between you or your business and us and of the fulfillment of your or your business’s requests or orders. You or your business may be required to provide financial information before placing an order.
  • Your search queries on our Websites and applications.
  • Information you provide when you respond to a survey that we ask you to complete, enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us, or report a problem with our Websites or applications.

You also may provide information to be posted, submitted, published, or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of our Websites or applications, or transmitted to other users of our Websites or applications or to third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on our Websites or applications or transmitted to others at your own risk. We cannot control the actions of others with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed or misused by unauthorized persons.

  • Security and integrity: We disclose personal information, including personal identifiers, commercial, internet or other electronic network activity, geolocation, professional or employment, and education information, to detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, and prosecute those responsible for that activity.
  • Debugging: We disclose personal information, including personal identifiers, commercial, internet or other electronic network activity, and geolocation information, to debug, identify, and repair errors that impair the functionality of our Websites and applications.
  • Quality control and improvement: We disclose personal information, including personal identifiers, commercial, internet or other electronic network activity, and geolocation information, to verify, maintain, improve, and enhance the quality of our services.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we may make available or disclose to third parties your personal information, including personal identifiers, commercial, internet or other electronic network activity, geolocation, and inference information, and business information that we collect or you provide. These third parties may associate the information they collect from you with personal information about you they collect in other ways or receive from other third parties, including information about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. We may disclose information that is deidentified, aggregated, or does not otherwise identify any individual without restriction.

CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR INFORMATION

You can make choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. 

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You may be able to set your browser to refuse certain browser cookies or to delete cookies stored on your device. If you refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our Websites or applications may then be inaccessible or not function properly. 

    When you first enter our Websites or applications, you may receive a cookie notice that allows you to accept all or some (but not all) cookies from our sites or applications. If you accept some (but not all) cookies through this notice, please note that (1) some parts of our Websites or applications may then be inaccessible or not function properly and (2) we may still store certain “necessary” cookies on your device. Necessary cookies are cookies that are essential for critical features of our Websites or applications to operate properly.

    For sake of clarity, the web beacons located at our Websites and applications will not be disabled if you refuse cookies.
  • Promotional Offers from Us. If you do not wish to have your email address used by us to promote our products or services, you can opt out by sending us an email stating your request to pylemarketing@aduiepyle.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions or opt out by clicking the appropriate link (if available) in the email. This opt out does not apply to communications regarding services provided by or to us, product purchases, or other transactions.
  • Text Communications from Us. In certain cases (e.g., if you submit a job application with us or receive services from us, directly or indirectly), you may receive text messages from us. You do not have to receive text messages from us to use our Websites or applications or receive services from us. If you receive texts from us, standard text messaging charges may apply. You may elect to stop receiving text messages from us at any time. To do so, type “STOP” in reply to a text message from us.

Our Websites and applications use cookies and web beacons provided by Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. We do not control how these third parties collect or use your information. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to manage how they collect and use your information. 

Some browsers may have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. We do not respond to such signals.

ACCESSING AND CORRECTING YOUR INFORMATION

You may send us an email at pylemarketing@aduiepyle.com or call us via our toll-free number at 800-523-5020 (Attn: Marketing) to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. If you have a user account, we cannot delete your account information except by also deleting your user account.

We may not accommodate a request to access, change, or delete information. For example, we may not accommodate such a request if (i) the information concerns completed, ongoing, prospective, or potential services provided by or to us, products sold by or to us, or other transactions, or (ii) we believe the access, change, or deletion would violate any law or legal obligation. If we change or delete your personal information, we may nevertheless retain copies of such information in cached or archived records. If your request concerns your User Contributions, we cannot access, change, or delete copies of such information that were copied or stored by third parties. Any change or deletion will not affect (i) any information we maintain that does not identify an individual or is deidentified or aggregated or (ii) any information maintained by our service providers or third parties to whom we make available or disclose personal information.

YOUR STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

To the extent applicable, state consumer privacy laws may provide the residents of such states with additional rights regarding our use of their personal information.

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits certain persons who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. CROSS BORDER DATA TRANSFER

To provide you with certain services, including tracking services related to your shipments, it may be necessary for us to share information related to your shipment, including your name and address, the destination name and address, and the type of shipment, with our service providers located outside of the United States. The information we share may include your personal information or your business’s information. If we transfer such information outside of the United States, we will use commercially reasonable measures to comply with applicable data protection laws.

LINKS AND THIRD PARTY WEBSITES

Our Websites and applications contain links to third party websites and applications. These links include links to our accounts at social media sites operated by Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties at their websites and applications. If you follow a link to any of these third party websites or applications, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies. We do not control these third party websites, and accept no responsibility for their privacy and security practices, the information they collect, or how they use that information. If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked from this Website, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms of use and privacy policies for such websites.

Our Website contains links to job application sites operated by UKG and Tenstreet and our warehouse management system (“WMS”) site operated by Körber. For sake of clarity, this Privacy Policy does apply to information we collect (1) from UKG and Tenstreet when you use the links from our Websites and applications to their sites and (2) from Körber when you use our WMS site. However, this Privacy Policy does not apply to information UKG, Tenstreet, and Körber collect when you use these sites.

DATA SECURITY

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information and your business’s information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Websites and applications, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of our Websites and applications like message boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of our Websites and applications. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password or any other breach of security.

We are not responsible for accidental loss or unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure of your personal information or your business’s information.
